My dogs love the garbage. 2 labs one 9 one 2. Didn’t matter what we did to baracade the trash, if we weren’t home the garbage would be from one end of the house to the other. This cabinet did the trick.
It was my first go at rail and stile and also my first go at raised panels. I was also still working on my finishing skills.

Looks good! Not only is it useful (essential?), it appears to match the rest of the kitchen nearly perfectly! Well done!

Great solution and a very nice job for your first attempt at paneled doors. I would like to give you some constructive criticism on your design. I think the piece would look more cohesive if you made the drawer front a panel also. The drawer front looks a little plain/unfinished compared to the door. The drawers on your kitchen cabinets have a small detail around the edges to give it some interest. Please take my comment in the spirit in which it’s intended.

Feedback is welcome on my end. I thought the drawers looked a bit off as well. Thanks for taking the time to respond and I also agree with you 100%. This cabinet was my pilot to see if I was smart enough to build cabinets throughout. I will most definitely do something different with the drawers. Thank you.
