This picture frame is made to fit a standard poster, it is made from oak and has mitered corners with dowels through them at a 45 degree angle. I used the dowels because my ceiling is too low to put this frame in my spline jig on the table saw. It has chamfered edges and the oak has some old worm holes in various spots, adding to the charm in my opinion. I drilled two holes in the back at an angle so it could be hung on a wall. I used plexiglass (expensive stuff) instead of real glass.
