Curly Red Oak and Torched Ash

Danish Oil and Osmo Polyx finish

This was a little bedside table I made for somebody and I loved the materials but I wound up hating the design. They liked it fine, and I guess thats what really matters.

Classic Hepplewhite design … what’s not to love? The curly red oak with the Shou-Sugi-Ban  base is striking. I love it. Good job!

Not sure if it’s the black/ebonized finish, or thick legs, but it makes it look pretty “hippy”

Love that top, but not so much a fan of the black with it. Glad the recipients like it though.

Wow! This is a beautiful table. The wood is great and there is a nice contrast between the colors.

I really like the way that table seems to “glow”!
What don’t YOU like about it?

Some pieces are tough to give away, and some you’re glad to see go. In either case, as long as the customer/recipient is happy, it’s a win.

Personally, I think it looks pretty damn good.

Cheers,
TF
