This is a clock that I made of figured maple and cherry for my Father’s 60th birthday. I finished it with amber shellac to give it an antique look. It presented me with a lot of new challenges as an aspiring woodworker.

Very nice Bill … love the design and choice of materials .. especially the finish

Hope you don’t mind if I make use of a few of the details in my next clock making go ‘round

Very nice. There something about clocks made from wood that always gets my attention.

I like what you have done.
I have a kit and a few ideas, just haven’t made it come to life yet.

Bill -

That is a very special gift for a special occasion. Your Dad looks very pleased . . . I suspect this will be a treasure to cherish.

Bill Great Clock. I’ve made a bunch but most of mine were made from Wood Slabs. Big and heavy.
