First cabinet type project. For many years our printer has been sitting on a wooden TV tray waiting for this day!!!

Made with pocket hole joinery, glued solid wood edging around the top and used edge banding for the rest of it (first time edge banding). The slides are shop made wooden and slide very well.

Only the second time I have used edge banding, I was traumatized by the fist experience I had with it when I attempted to edge band a surface that was not flat or square to sides (cut with a jigsaw and circular saw 20 years ago when I had no tools, woodworking skills or patience :-) ). Went much better this time!! its amazing what a difference 20 years can make!!!

I had to control myself and not turn this into a fine furniture piece, I held back making it look good and be solid but not take too much time and money to put together.
