Impressive sign. I like the very much the tools fastened onto either end. Since you live in WI, you may want to make sure it doesn’t get topped with snow that melts back into the louvers of the attic space.

Dave, the handplane ,mallet and chisel are cedar painted (props) affixed to the sign to get it to look 3d. purely for looks.

cnnyakman. hard to see but the sign stands off from the louvers. good point though.

rtbrmb. Thanks for turning the photo I could not.

The sign looks great! I was wondering the same thing Dave asked.

I’m curious, as are Dave, and Smitty, but I’ll word it differently. Do you use a plane, and a mallet and chisels to make furniture, or do you use power tools? Either way, great looking sign.

To clear the questions up. Yes I do use hand tools. but the majority of stuff that comes out of the shop has been touched in some form or fashion by the CNC.

That satisfies my curiosity. Thanks for the response, and sharing the sign.
