Twenty years ago another woodworker started this cedar lined cherry blanket chest for his daughter. He glued and mitered the panels but died before he could assemble it. His widow asked me to finish it for her daughter which I gladly did in exchange for some nice lumber. I built the drawers and the base frame. This is some beautiful curly cherry.

This chest is a beautiful piece and so nicely done. It displays a lot of fine craftsmanship.
