A few poplar caddys

Just finished up these three caddys out of “painted” poplar. The finish is water based poly then sanded with micro mesh products.

I added a few more pictures.

I machine cut the dovetails with a Leigh Dovetail Jig and a Porter Cable router, hand cut the rabbits for the other interior joinery, used a hand plane to taper the bottom to fit in a rabbit around the base which was cut on the router table.

Well they looks good. Many years of use and abuse they will endure.

Need more Pic’s need to see some details? :) French polish on Poplar looks fantastic!
