Searching for a way to use ten different kinds of expensive wood scraps. I had this idea. Cut and glue random different colored strips into a board, cut a second plain maple board of the same dimensions, design a wine goblet shape and find a way to insert into a board. easy eh? Used the stack, cut, and switch parts procedure.

Impressive design and workmanship.

Now that is a decent sized wine goblet.

Great use of those let over pieces (we never call the scraps). You say you stack cut the goblet, so how thick are the pieces?
