This spandrel was custom made from poplar for a residential customer. I use in combination, the scroll saw and the CR ONSRUD inverted pin router to make all my fret work. model 36210 has a 36” throat capacity with a 10 hp motor. It is faster than a CNC router because I don’t have to right an Auto cad program to cut the piece. I just make a template on the scroll saw and cut out the part. For more on inverted pin routers go to http://cronsrud.com Ask for Sam.

Beautiful design. Can you give some description of the dimensions and also maybe the home it’s going to be used on?

I don’t know the home it went in. The customer sent me a wall cutout template and I drew 4 designs and this is the one he picked. That was 6 yrs. ago. The elliptical frame was 3/4” x 1 5/8”. The fretwork was 3/4” poplar and the balls are 1”. It was about 6’ long. Can’t remember the rest.
