Great job on the 3 winged bowl. Not as easy as it looks.

Thanks Dave, it was a new one for sure and my pinky can attest to the care needed to keep it and your hands in one piece.

Nice job on the bowl. I just swiped a piece of mesquite from my son's wood pile and turned 3 small bowls last week. The piece that I used was (I think) the only one that was not worm eaten really bad. Don't you just love the color of Mesquite.

WCP - yes the mesquite always comes out beautifully and it's hard to find a piece that isn't riddled with holes

John - it was a lot of fun, watch the wings spinning

Ken - thanks, I wished now that i had a big block of that spalted hackberry to give it a try.

Gary, I upload and edit (crop) the pictures, then copy the six I want to post to the desk top. From there I don't seem to have any problem.

It is fairly easy with the iPhone (thats what I use). Here is what I do.
1. take the picture with the iPhone.
2. email the picture to myself, when you click send the iPhone will ask you what size you want to send. I always chose the medium size, notice it reduces the size of the JPG but will display a nice size picture when posted.

3. next go to a desktop or laptop and open your email. Download the picture to the computer you just sent yourself.
4. Open the downloaded picture with "Windows Photo Viewer". The image will be opened and displayed sideways.

5. Click the rotation button until the picture is displayed upright, now close Windows Photo Viewer.

Your picture will be displayed correctly when you insert it on LJ's.

Hope this helps.
