Very nice! Only thing I see missing is a crowd of people, and a pig on a bbq pit. Life is good!

Holy smoke! Didn’t think there was another tiki-phile on the board. Nice tiki bar you’ve built there. I’ve loved everything retro and tiki for a long time now. Would love to stop by and enjoy a mai tai or a refreshing mojito with you some time. Built this tiki bar in my back yard about four years ago. It’s 18’ in diameter and it features a 12’ long dog leg bar with rope lighting and outlets. One thing I will warn you about – a tiki bar is never finished and, once the bug gets you, you are hooked for life. Currently building an indoor version of this one.

I love to see more people getting into the whole tiki thing.

I want to build a tiki bar at my house too. But for the side walls I want to make 8 X 4 foot panels out of small saplings – mortised and tenoned into the upper and lower rails. I want to use the saplings to create a design in each panel. I can’t remember what those types of walls are called? It is sort of like what they do with willow.

Very festive!

Watch out for those mojito’s, they can leave a nasty scar when they bite!
