Project Information

This is a maple slab and log bench (or table) with a live edge. Mortise and tenon construction. The maple slab is about 4.5 feet long 2" thick and about 20 inches wide. The wood is naturally distressed. The finish is tung oil (for outdoor use) and I have only applied one coat of oil so far therefore this is a work in progress. I would have taken more pics but the battery in my camera just died. :( Sorry about the typo earlier. The bench in this photo is maple- not cherry. Cherry is still a work in progress and apparently my brain and fingers weren't communicating properly. :)

I will try and capture the gain.. but my camera is worse than a hunk of junk… the photos never really do the wood justice. Ever. :) But I will try. Thanks for the kind words.
