I was a little surprised to find out it has been more than two years since I completed my last pen. And by last pen I mean last segmented pen. I’ve made a couple cigar pens using white oak and acrylic, but those don’t capture my interest as much.

This pen includes 300 segments of maple, brazilian cherry, bloodwood and cherry in my Patchwork design. The pen has a CA/BLO satin finish. I’ve used my all time favorite black titanium roller-ball hardware to create a durable and long lasting pen.

It is outstanding Derryl. Any reference as to how it is done?

Thank you for the comments on this pen.
A month after making this pen, my younger brother Sam passed away in a car accident. This pen was used at the funeral home for his friends and family to sign the guest book and was then given to my mother.
