This sculpted side table was designed and built by us but heavily influenced by the design and joinery techniques of Sam Maloof.

Built from solid Walnut, all joints have been reinforced with internal screws or dowels. The legs and table support have been sculpted into a main center post.

We initially wanted to make the drawer pulls carved out of the drawer face, but decide on these ones to use a round knob, I like the dark knob best.

The drawers have reinforced rabbits and a dado, they have 2 2’’ long screws at each joint plugged with ebony.

Features Include:

Sculpted center pedestal
Maloof style Joinery
Reinforced drawer joinery plugged with Ebony
Solid wood drawer bottom
Floating removable top
Hand rubbed oil / resin finish
Dimensions – Length 22’’ – Width 22’’ – Height 24’‘

I love the smooth round corners of the top. I just want to touch it.
