Project Information
This table was built using 2×8 clear pine for the top. Glues and biscut jointed as well as some oak splines on the ends (more for looks) but it does help a little structully. The base is 2×4s jointed and planed and laminated with finger joint style corners. The top is elevated by 4 blocks of pine painted black and is sandwiched between base and top and fastened with 4 exposed carriage bolts to add a little of the industrial look. The edges of the top we cut in an irregular pattern and filed/sanded to obtain a cleaned live edge look.
