I got married a few weeks ago…....... yeah for me, For my groomsmen I chose my 4 brothers. Simply enough I bought them some engraved knives personalized with each name. I then took it upon myself to build them “Manly” boxes to accompany them. The boxes open by sliding themto one side. I went for a picture frame look when closed, and it seemed to work out fine.
Clear coat 5 times with Laquer.
Polished them up nicely with johnsons paste wax.
Interior walls are sprayed black with a gray vinyl floor for cushion.
THe boxes are built with 1/4” oak plain sawn. Built with miters.
Thanks for looking. Now we’re off to Cancun, Mexico for two weeks!!!!!!

four brothers plus yourself… a basketball team? Excellent personalized gifts. Anyone fight over who got the “best” box? I’m sure they really appreciated… and I suspect approved of the bride? Enjoy Cancun.

Congratulations to you and your bride! Very nice gifts. My daughter was married in May and all I got was the bill for the wedding, they did buy me breakfast though. LOL Its a very happy time.
