This is a slimline snakewood gunmetal pen and pencil set I made for my personal use at school. I was a little too venturous in that I started reading about the wood after I purchased it; I then found out that it can have problems overheating and cracking. I was fortunate in that I didn’t really have problems with cracks; the cracks that I did have were very small and easily filled with CA glue. Overall, it was a fun project; the difficulty in working with the wood is easily overcome by the finished product. A special thanks to sapwood for his advice on snakewood. Thanks for looking! Nice set Dale, I haven’t made any pens yet, always something else on the go.
