Made this for my mancave! the reel and the base are made from walnut, When you turn the reel handle the light goes on and off, I just used a lamp switch in the reel for that and the ballast for the light is in the tackle bag. the rod I had tried to make from wood but ended up making it from fiberglass, I did carve the lure head and attahced it to a salt shaker for the light which is from a hanging pendant ligfht.

Thank you! not all wood but most of it is. Th worst part was messing with the fiberglass to make the rod. ITCHY
