I just had a look at all the holders… am only commenting on this one as it is my favourite… I like the others too but this one just pops.. for me…IMHO…

Wow! That is beautiful!
I really like the use of purpleheart and maple together, as degoose says it just pops!
I just got some exotic hardwoods and got some purpleheart, never worked with any of these woods and I make mostly finger rings or small items, and it seems to be a very hard wood.
Mine is really purple before I work it, but after working it but before the finish, it is really dark is there a finish or process to keep it lighter in color?
