I take a fishing trip almost every year and I make my fishing buddies one of these for the trip. There is a diamond hook sharpener inside that is great for keeping your hooks sharp, plus it’s a pen too. This is made from walnut bowl scraps.

deception

I finally see a pen that reads “fishing pen” and being an avid “Fisher” “Fisheman”.................love fishing and seeing a million pens where one looks like the next and the next and the next I hit the “enter” button and simply do not get the analogy of “fishing pen”

nice but I dont get it ?

Nice job Tom. Where did you get a pen kit with a fish hook sharpener built into it?

Hi Guys,

I got this at Penn State Industries on-line. I wasn’t able to find the exact kit I got, but here’s a link to almost the same thing.

Moron:

It has a Diamond Hook Sharpener inside for sharpening your HOOKS. Just like it says in the description. “Deception?” What’s deceptive about it? What is it that you don’t get?

I do a lot of Fishing also. I have one of these except it’s NOT inside a Pen. This one is.

Hi Tom:

Sorry but I don’t fully understand youe message. What name? Your Posting Name? The name of the first Poster (Moron)?

With all due respect, yesterday was just fine thank you, and today will be just as good.

The thing I did do wrong was to not compliment you on a Nice Piece Of Work!! If I was one of your Fishing Buddies, I’d be Thrilled to receive a Gift like this!!!

I usually do Live Release and before releasing I take a number of measurements and enter them in a Log. A copy of that Log is sent to the local Fish & Wildlie Service, so they can monitor certain Fish Species in Various Lakes, in Ontario.

Your Pen would be the ideal piece of equipment to have ….EXCEPT ….How do I sharpen Hooks and make notes at the same time????? ....LOL….

UH HU….. I just noticed that you’ve only been on here for 4 Days. I’ve been on here a lot longer as have many other PEOPLE. You get to know various “Styles” after a while and sometimes you get a little Fed Up seeing it all the time.

As you have now seen I’m not one that just let’s things “Slide By” all the time, which sems to be the “Politically Correct” way of doing things these days.

However this was YOUR POST and you chose not to reply to him. That’s fair, and sometimes it’s just not worth doing. Perhaps I should not have addressed the Comment as it is your Post.

Thank you for Posting this. I trust you understand the Reasoning behind my Comments.

Welcome to LJ’s! I look forward to seeing more of your Projects.

Rick
