This project is my wife’s first foray into scroll saw work. She loved Scrollgirl’s works and ordered a set of patterns from her. She is really proud of her first scroll saw work and I am too. It is not perfect and nowhere near as neat as Sheila’s work, but for her first one it is darn good! She has not started on the charms for it as she said “The holes are so tiny!” She said she was anxious to try the other project in the set. I think with a little more time on the scroll saw she will gain confidence to do the TINY holes!

Comments and critiques welcomed (she says please be nice!)

She sure did a nice job, especially for a first project! Keep up the great work! I hope to see more!

Wow, that is really beautiful! She did a great job. And this was her first project? I am really happy she liked it. Maybe she can become my spokesperson and tell everyone it isn’t as hard as it looks! :)

Thanks for letting me you posted it, Erwin.

She should really be proud. It makes me so happy to see people like my patterns so much. Excellent job!

Well you say it is not perfect. . . Well I don’t see anything wrong at all with this! It is a great piece, and you say it is her first? I would say we have a budding scrollsaw artist here, but I think she bypassed budding went straight to blooming!

Great job

I’m like Otto, can’t see a thing wrong with it. Beautiful first piece, she set the bar kinda high for herself I look forward to seeing future projects. Please encourage her to post, gives amateurs like me a ton of inspiration!
