Bamboo Flooring Turned Bowl

I glued up some leftover bamboo flooring to see how it would turn. I made the piece a little thick which I kind of like. It turned well – no chipouts as I expected. I finished it with wipe on poly!

bamboo looks good in the bowl my sister just lifted a bamboo floor a asked me if i wanted the old flooring after seeing what you have made with your waste i will take the old floor and try and glue some together and make some bowl es like yours if you don’t mind thank s for sharing

Thanks all! Branch you’ll find that the glue you use, is probably stronger than than the factory glue. I put a glued up piece in the back of my pick up and exposed it to the weather for a couple of months and the factory joints started coming apart. My glued up joints stayed together. I used Titebond II.
