This is a Commissioned piece for a co-worker – he gave me total artistic freedom. Gotta LOVE that!

I used six different woods – White Oak, Red Oak, Maple, Choke Cherry, Regular Cherry and Walnut.

Board contains 231 pieces and measures 11 1/2” wide x 16” long and is a little over an inch thick.

Comments certainly welcome!

Sweet. The color combinations really shine.

This really looks great. How many glue ups were there?

I thought that I read compliments welcome… not comments welcome… so I think that I will not comment… just compliment…...Consider yourself complimented on a great job… I just love cutting boards…

Yes Larry, comments are welcome – compliments are CERTAINLY welcome! Thanks for both!

Bruce – Only three glue-ups were needed for this one. If I had long enough boards I could have gotten away with two! I’ll let you figure it out…......... ;-)

The colors were most certainly NOT planned to turn out this way – it was a pleasant surprise!

Great job, thanks for sharing.

I really like your logo stamp, is that a woodburning end piece?

Where did you get it? I’ve been wanting something similiar to put my footprint on my stuff. I want to add a date code as well.

Thanks again,
Fred
