I’ve been wanting to make a pen for myself and today I had a chance to do just that.
This is a Rhodium/Black Titanium Statesman Rollerball dressed in Rattler skin.
I’ve got one more set of blanks like this and they’re going on a similar Fountain Pen.
Also included is another pen display tray; this one’s flocked in light green and has a frame painted kelly green.
I hope y’all had a fun and relaxing Thanksgiving.
Thanks for looking,
Gary

Would you be kind enough to tell me a little about the top one in the third picture?

looks great Gary!
Not sure if you could get them, but I’m now thinking a whole new twist on your Gator pens!

That answers it Gary. It is amazing what some people will do to create beauty and uniqueness. That’s why I love this place.

You’re welcome Rikkor—and, I gotta agree with your statement. True to the core.
Grumpy,
The finish is simply wet-sand using MicroMesh from 1500—>12000 and then buffed out with plastic polish.
Since it’s a PR cast, it takes a shine beautifully.
I’ve got something coming called Novus scratch remover but it hadn’t arrived yet when I finished this one
and I’ve got good success in the past with the Plastic Polish.
Thanks.
