Just posting a couple pictures of two mallets I made. They are Wenge, Afromosia (I am told it is African Teak?), and Cherry for the handle. I still need to practice making the wedges from Wenge I found it difficult to work.

Fine looking mallets, Matt. Are they weighted in any way?

I did put roughly 4 shotgun shells worth of shot in the middle of each end of the mallets. I no longer hunt and had some shells lying around so instead of spending the money for BB’s I just sawed the end off of them and repurposed it.

Some nice looking mallets.
