My first clock.
Body is Red Gum with a Maple base.
2 coats of sealer, and @ 10 coats of deft spray laquer.

great clock,,those would make great xmas gifts if they didn’t take to long to make. How long does it you take to make that one? I’m assuming the clock works are a kit of some sort

Thanks for the comments. It didn’t take long at all. It is a slice from a Red Gum bowl blank,from Got wood? http://www.turningblanks.net , turned to make circle, and drilled for clock (2-3/4” insert). Mounted it to 2×4 with screws through clock hole to dado out bottom on table saw to recieve 1 x Maple. Then filled screw holes.
