This small turning is about 7” tall and 3” in diameter at its largest point.

The dark wood I believe is some species of rosewood and the light wood is birds eye maple. The rosewood rings are 12 segments each and the maple rings have 24 segments. I installed a floating bottom.

The finish is one coat of Livos 244 and two coats of the Livos countertop oil. I love the Livos products as they are easy to apply, durable and provide a nice luster without buffing. If you want a high sheen, it buffs out really well.

So beautiful project. By the way, the photo itself with that background is awsome!

The rosewood looks great. I like the simple form and maple accent ring. Please post more photos next time.

This is a beautiful vessel and so nicely done.
