Hi everyone,This is one of my favorrite intarsia projects. It measures 28”x26” and 3/4 thick. It was a gift for my dad on fathers day.I spent alot of time on the project about 20-25hrs.There are three different wood types. The sails are poplar. The ships base and mast are walnut. The background is red oak.The finish is tung oil. This was the 3rd intarsia project Ive worked on.The pattern came from Creative Woodworks.I do alot of differrent scrollsaw work, fretwork, intarsia, scenic, and mostly people portraits.Im new to lumberjocks so im still setting things up on my page

You may be new to LumberJocks, but you certainly are not new to the scroll saw. Beautiful work.

Great Project. I’ve always wanted to make one, but never took the time. Thanks for showing it.
