This is a cedar Bench a customer had me build. The customer wanted me to copy the one he had that was from the 1950’s and about to fall into small pieces (Poor thing). Anyways the project took me 8 hours from start to finish, and another hour to put tune oil on it to protect it from the nasty elements of Oregon…. The bench is made out of cedar and fir for the legs ( customers choice) I said cedar for to last…. Also it has mahogany strips as spacers. Hope you enjoy.

Thank you, I think what finishes off the bench is the little raised feet. (in photo 2)
Also I put little sheet meat feet on it, so the cedar would not rot.

How cool that it is similar to a bench from the 50’s. It must have been a favorite since they wanted it again.
