I wanted to put some artistic flair into this project. This was the first project with my new dado and another example of what I call outlay. You use strips of birch laminate from home depot or wherever…..tape them together like a sheet…draw your design…..cut out with a razor knife….and iron on…....bam…...outlay. Add some colored stain….sand again…stain again. Rails are red oak with poplar trim.

Like it a lot Very well done. I was going to make one of these late last year but never got around to it. Went with the game table instead.
