I had the idea to make a lamp with fixed wooden blinds on the sides.
I’m glad that i only made it this big, because it was quite a lot of work to sand all 100 pieces needed to go into the slots. I was originally going to have the top sit up a bit, but after i had made the frame, I decided it looked better with no gap. The slats are just hot glued in from the inside, they aren’t going to go anywhere as can be seen by me hammering them in.

That’s a great looking Japanese lamp! I’ve never seen one with slats before, and I like the look!

That is a very nice lamp and with all of those louvers I can see how much time it must have cost you to get them ready. Nice work!
