Modern lines, nice timber, not sure about the hands extending past structure. Hmmm..

I like the modern look and the fact that the hands extend just emphasizes it further. Does the pendulum swing out the side? If it does then that’s a nice touch and is consistent with the concept of the hands extending beyonds the clock. Donalds, another question, from the photo, there appears to be a black border around the maple. Is that a shadow or is there something there?

I also love the fact the of the hands are pushing past the boarder of the of the structure and yes the pendulum does come out of the box I wish i could find a mech. that would swing further out but I could not find one. Evey thing about this piece is about is the idea going outside of the frame of the clock I like the idea of the time pieces going outside the simple structure. Thank you all for your comments I have seen all of your work and respect all of your skills so again thank you!!!!

Something different and very nice. A unique idea with everything extending beyond the confines of the structure : )
Is there a gap between the Maple and the sides of the box , or is it infilled with a darker wood species ? Thanks .
