Cherry end table

I needed a small end table to go beside my chair in the den. The one I had looked similar but lacked drawers to store junk. This is what I came up with. The table is made from solid cherry and the dovetailed drawers are contrasted with maple and walnut. No nails or screws were used. The drawers have bookmatched sides. I finished it with Bartley’s rub on varnish. Something besides a birdhouse!

I love the drawr slides, using spalted wood on the drawers then being able to see them hang freely, nice touch.
