This is a bamboo table that I helped make for our conference room at work. Made using bamboo plywood and our cnc machine. Main field and legs are Vertical Grain Natural bamboo and the inlay is Vertical Grain Carbonized bamboo. Finished with SafeCoat waterbased finish (super low VOC).

I’ll try to get a picture of it in our conference room tomorrow. Looks really nice with our bamboo flooring!

I was wondering if anyone here used bamboo! That is so fantastic! It is beautiful!

Only bamboo I have is for cutting board since it is so kind to knives. That would make a great, huge cutting board! Lovely table. I also like the idea of bamboo since it is a quickly renewable resource for going green, is very attractive, and versatile.

Very nice.

For those curious about getting/using bamboo. I used some left over bamboo flooring on a couple of projects including a clock and the top of my workbench. I think it is great stuff.

Please note – Bamboo is not a wood. It is technically classified as a grass. I like telling people that we have a grass floor and/or telling people that I have a grass top on my workbench.
