Made these banks for a friend to give as Christmas gifts. His father-in-law had the doors and made one with dovetails and then passed before he could get the others started. I was asked to step in. I tried to make the remaining six as nicely as the original was done. I got close. They wanted a shelf because that was included in the original one. Waited to post this until he gave them out. Just as any other woodworker would, I was glad to help out.

You did a fine job for a friend. Love that they were finished natural to bring out the grain in the wood.

Very nice banks and a nice story. I have made many of these and yours are top notch. Makes me wish I could do dovetails. I like the addition of the shelf. I haven’t tried that yet. Great job.
