I made this in box for our office manager at work. It’s a simple box design with the bottom tray being about an inch deeper than the top. I came up with a height and set back distance for the top tray so you can easily reach into the lower one. I angled the supports and rounded over the splined corners just to give the project a little class.
Thanks for looking.

Lots of details that make this a great looking project.

Very nice. I like the contrasting splined corners. That gives it a uniqueness. I built one a number of years ago with both inner and outer rounded corners but I didn’t use splines—that’s a nice embellishment. Is that maple?

This looks great! I look at ugly plastic one in my office every day – I should also di something about it in near future.

Jim, it’s just pine with walnut splines…I put a few coats of oil on it.

Tom, that is just pure class. Beautiful work.
