We play a lot of ping pong at work during lunch.
I’ve been tired on working on a large tv stand that will never end, so I whipped this up during the weekend.
It’s styled like a particular paddle where you put your hand inside the paddle… there’s no handle.
I have no clue if it will work well or not, but it should be fun.
The body is made of 1/4” ply, the spacers are mahogany. I wrapped a couple of the spacers in that rubber wrap made for tennis rackets.

Neat looking paddle never seen one like it. Let us know if it improves the game.

nope, it sure didn’t improve my game. I never use it anymore.
It actually broke the first day, but it was well worth the laughs. I’ve repaired it – now at version 1.5. I cut off the non-padded area at the bottom. We found that it was restricting your wrist’s motion.

Awesome Idea with the Ping Pong Paddle. Where did you get the rubber pad?
Thanks, Roger

I took the rubber off a cheap paddle bought at Academy.
I looked into buying rubber on the internet, but it all looked too expensive.
