Hmmm, I don’t see why pics #1 and #2 are displaying sideways, they’ve been rotated and display rotated on my PC.
Anyways, those are the front and back side shots of my latest board, built for one of my oldest friends Steve and his wife, LaDonna. A couple of shots of the board in a rough state, too, getting clamped up and getting laid out for cutting. I used my track saw to do the trimming, it was a super helpful option since my primary table saw [with its’ crosscut sled] is on the fritz.
Hopefully, Steve, LaDonna and ya’ll will like…

Nice board Wayne. Like the contrast. Are the 2 lighter strips tiger maple?

Thanks much, Dave! Yes, I believe they are Tiger Maple.
I got truckloads of “scraps” from a local guy who is making jewelry boxes, and I use these
for my boards. I definitely see 2 types of maple from him, Birdseye and this other one,
which I am calling Tiger. [It could be “Curly” though…]
