I made a sign for my wife’s new workshop. It’s scrap masonite letters painted black over a Cypress board. The cypress should turn grey over time and look really neat. I cut the letters using a bandsaw and a rotary tool for the insides of the letters.

magnificent – it truly shows off what you might find inside – “art”.

A man of many talents. Those look very professional. Is your wife an artist too?

I recently purchased a pottery wheel, a big electric kiln, and this barn for her birthday. She wants to do ceramics in her own studio.

Good Job. I’m jealous, I’d love to have an Art Barn.

Don’t worry… I’m not losing shop space. I’m gaining shop space! :-) This building is completely seperate from my shop. I have a 30’x30’ shop that is dedicated to woodworking only! This is just her own creative space to work. It’s 12’x18’ with two 6’x12’ lofts. I’ll post my shop photos one of these days, and then I’ll post hers. We’re designing the interior setup of hers right now.
