My 25 year old requested one of these flag boxes to hold a couple of his weapons. I guess their pretty trendy on Pintrest? Anyway, nothing special about the wood. I used “select pine” from the local chain store, and applied a walnut finish. He was happy with it, so that was all I needed. Take care ya’ll.
