Sorry Guys but this is just my week, went to Sears to order a 12” band saw that was in my current budget and while I was looking at the floor model the sales associate asked me if I was buying or looking then she took me over to a completely assembled14” Craftsman floor model that for some reason had been discounted from $589.00 to $349.00 which was the same price as the 12” and I could take it home with me so between the great deal I got on my jointer earlier this week and now the deal on the 14” BS I bought a few extra tickets for the Power Ball. I have only used it for a few cuts so far but I do have to say it seams like it has plenty of power I re-sawed a few pieces of black walnut and even with a 3/8” blade it cut like a hot knife through butter.

I will call you the next time I go tool shopping. If you buy the Lottery tickets and win – I have first request rights for your old tools :-))

Nice! Another reason your probably better of with the 14” is because of blade size. I’m sure the 12” does not use standard sizes and non standard sizes are hard to find. Espically here in Canada. I bought a 10” craftsman 2 years ago and I still can not find a blade for it and Sears can not order one for me. WTF!!
