Dollhouse Christmas present for my daughter. All made of 1/2 inch birch plywood. I’d like to build another on in the future requiring a bit more skill. The furniture was thrown together from some stuff from the scrap bin.

Cute. How is the drop down front panel attached? Nice option to close up the “house.”

It’s actually attached using some cut up elastic hair ties tied through holes I drilled. If I was to do it again, I would take the time to install some real hinges. It works great so far, but I know I’ll have to replace the elastic hair ties at some point.

The kids are loving it. The funny thing is… after a couple of weeks, it has become more than a dollhouse… now my younger son is using it as a garage for his trucks too. It’s multi-purpose!
