I was getting tired of operating my wood plane on the floor so I built this stand. It is made of 1/2” red oak plywood trimmed in red oak. I biscuit joined the frame then glued the frame to the plywood. The drawers were given to me by my neighbors who were throwing them away. I used a flush cutting but to trim the top. I used minwax early American stain with polyurethane to finish. Does anyone know how to rotate these pictures?

Nice looking stand, looks great and I am sure it is better than working on the floor. Heck better than most people have for a microwave stand!! Great work on re-purposing the drawers.

That is exactly the same planer I have used for 20 years. I call it my “Delta Lunchbox Snipe-o-matic”
:^)

To rotate pics. open them in a photo editor app and crop them (any amount, it can be 99% of the original size) save them and re-post. For some reason this always does the trick.

This is a very nice plainer stand and will make a fine addition to your shop. Congratulations and welcome to Lumberjocks.

Thanks for all your nice comments! I would have never guessed that is how to rotate pictures. What is SPG?

Have your say...
