First attempt at a lidded vessel

The wood is alder and mahogany plus a small piece of purple heart for the knob. This project was a practice piece to see how a pattern would turn out. Well I should have searched for more of the lighter colored wood like the bottom was made from to contrast more with the mahogany. My wife is happy with it at least.
