This was my first attempt at building a truck, the canvas cover is actually cloth canvas painted with a semi gloss paint. Two things I did not have at the time were a band saw and a spindle sander. The job would have been a lot easier with both.

A very well done hopper bottom rig. Both the tractor and the trailer are excellent renditions!

Even the tarp is realistic.

Very good wooden replica. I agree, bandsaw and spindle sander make work much faster.

This is a beautiful tractor trailer model and it shows a lot of wonderful details and fine craftsmanship.

You’ve done yourself proud 67’.

Shame you haven’t provided a few more pictures (they can be imbedded with your story).

Also don’t be afraid of providing a longer narrative… I hate reading, but, I do love to hear about projects’ background and the build… warts and all… gives me a bloody good excuse for spending more time at my computer!
