These are the first pens that I have turned.

#1 is the first one that I made, it is a slimline, I’m not sure what the wood is, rosewood I think. Finished with Behlen wood turner’s finish.

#2 is a slimline also, no idea what kind of wood. my first try at a CA finish.

#3 is a cigar, wood is mahogany, CA finish.

#4 is a cigar, wood is salvaged walnut barn wood, CA finish.

-- I love the smell of Home Depot in the morning, it smells like.......carpentry. Bake, Bar Lazy U Woodworks, Lehi,UT.

Great looking pens for your first ones. You are probably hooked now. The pen monster strikes again.

So now turn the antler. Makes a great pen. Especially a top.
Smells pretty bad.

-- No piece is cut too short. It was meant for a smaller project.
