this little knife was my first atempt at crafting such a tool. the whole project started with the knife and the box followed..the blade is made from a piece of tool steel…just to mention it took a long time to drill and meny bits before some one told me about heating the blade to soften…now i have learnt..
the timber i used were all of cuts..the center is lignum vitea with king wood on the outside with a hint of paduke…blade fixed with brass rod ..the box is also made from lignum vitea fixed with simple finger joint..the best use i have found is for cutting hide and trimming leather.

That is super beautiful and super cool -what is the knife for -anything specific? It looks comfortable for fleshing skins.
