My sister commissioned me to do a doggy style shoe for her Grand-daughter’s upcoming birthday. So to get 2018 started, I had some left-over cedar hydro-post and since it was for a girl, I concocted this weird dancing’ shoe. The piece of wood was short on mass so I cut the blank so that the dog was snoopin’! You just gotta have something to talk about and since this boot is going to Denver, CO, my sister will be rattlin’ her tongue with all her friends.
Needed some stability so I mounted the shoe on a base, a piece of Arariba wood.
Finished the dog with some rust metallic spray paint and a clear lacquer on the base!
‘A woooo, wooo, woooo, wooo. I think that’s how a dog howls! Enjoy!

HAPPY NEW YEAR to all!
The, BOOTMAN!

I’m waiting to hear how she likes it. Makes me think of Hush Puppies brand shoes. ;)

Totally radical, Really had to stretch your imagination on this one. Looks totally different from any one you have did before. Very nice.
