Here’s where I’ve been the last few to 6 weeks…

This 12’ Live edge walnut shuffleboard table set with a matching bench & maple hard top.
Trimmed out with some more of that birdseye maple from Yellowstone.

The Box frame wound up being finished @ 10/4 by the time all was said and done. The Monkeypod finished off at 9/4 + another 1/4” after the two coats of epoxy. The bench came in at 12/4 (made sure that was super-duty due to the 10’6” length and the legs having to tuck under the shuffleboard table when not in use.
Note the bench is on the wrong side of table for actual use but that was the clients doing for the pics (and his wife decided to do some test painting on the walls just before we set it all up).

Also provide customized puck caps{one set in walnut / one in maple} (can’t find the pic atm) with clients logo engraved in them which was to accent the walnut of the table and in-laid birdseye maple score lines.

Anyway, it was a truly fun project which brought on at least one more game (next only 9’ lg but live edge as well) and have already started that project as well as 9-10 others already on the books.

So, 2018 (Happy New Year BTW!) is turning out to be busier than 2017 ~ only problem I see there is, I’m also a year older!!

Just uploaded one of the walnut puck caps that go with the set.

Thanks Charles and big Al. This one was 12’ and that was a project! Looks like I’ve got an order for a 20-22’ now!
That’s going to be an interesting build, just working out details now.

Thanks Hunter and Smitty.
Smitty, I’ve always thought and worked outside the box, maybe that’s why I’m so damn busy?? ;-)
Not complaining about that…The 9’ one in progress has an Acacia and Walnut playing surface with a walnut live edge box.
Hope to get that wrapped up in coming weeks.
BTW, not sure if you’ve ever worked with Monkeypod? But fair warning a mask is an absolute must!!! This stuff is a killer! ( Not saying a mask shouldn’t always be used, but there are times when I skip it for whatever reason…. Monkeypod will never be one of those.
